Marathi movie Deool

Direction: Umesh Kulkarni
Cast: Nana Patekar, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Sonali Kulkarni, Girish Kulkarni

This is another masterpiece by Kulkarni brothers. Again the subject is different, characters are different and the story has so may angles and again, like their earlier films story takes place in a small village. The movie really makes people fall in love with village.
The story revolves about the creation of a temple in a village and every character in the movie has his/her own view about the whole process. The plus points are the legends like Nana Patekar and Dilip Prabhavalkar sharing the screen together, importance given to each and every character and simplicity in which the story is told.
The movie do has some drawbacks, but they can be easily overlooked. For all Marathi Janata, this is a must watch.

Movie Review: Moraya (Marathi movie)

Direction: Avadhut Gupte

A good movie. Story revolves around the rivalry between 2 gang leaders manoj and sameer. Rivalry goes to whole new level during Ganapati festival celebrations. Lead actors have performed there roles very well. Dilip Prabhavalkar has performed superb in his small role. Film tries to give a message of hindu-muslim unity and brotherhood.

A one time watch movie.

Movie Review: The Prestige

Director:

Christopher Nolan

Writers:

Jonathan Nolan (screenplay), Christopher Nolan (screenplay)

Stars:

Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and Scarlett Johansson

Rating: 4.5/5

The most special thing about "The Prestige" is its screenplay. It is very difficult to understand the movie in one watch due to complex screenplay. The story revolves around two magicians and there rivalry amongst themselves. Excellent story, direction, performances and screenplay is top notch.

Don't miss this one.

Movie Review : The Dark Knight

Director:

Christopher Nolan

Writers:

Jonathan Nolan (screenplay), Christopher Nolan (screenplay)

Stars:

Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart

Rating : 4.5/5

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Especially the role performed by Heath Ledger takes the movie to a whole new level. Movie is based on famous Batman series, but the genius director Christopher Nolan has modified the story and have made it more interesting than the actual one.

Excellent performances by every one in the film, excellent dialogues, screenplay, direction.

A must watch.
